Thank you to Kirk Baldin for organizing the Chipotle fundraiser. Thank you to all who attended and showed their support for Chaparral Boys Lacrosse. We were able to raise $1,304 for the lacrosse program.

Colton McCaffrey committs to DU

Congratulations to sophomore Colton McCaffrey who verbally committed to play D1 lacrosse at the University of Denver. Read the full announcement on Inside Lacrosse below.

Colton McCaffrey, A, Chaparral (Colo.) has verbally committed to Denver. A 6-foot-1, 170-pound attackman, he earned All-Star honors at Hotbeds, Denver Team Camp and Denver Shootout this past summer. As a freshman on varsity, McCaffrey racked up 43 goals and 25 assists, earning 1st team All-League and 2nd team All-State recognition. He also participates in hockey, golf and skiing. McCaffrey strongly considered North Carolina, Ohio State and Virginia.

Boosters Raise $7,101

A big thank you to Lorie McCaffrey, Kendall Lehne, Kandy Knepper and all the parent support in making this year’s athletic auction a huge success. Boys lacrosse dominated the auction and raised a total of $7,101 ($6,309 will go directly to the program).

We know that great programs don’t just happen. Intentional efforts in events like these allow us to provide an infrastructure of support for our players.
